2024 MVAGO Mini-Convention Schedule
Saturday, February 24, 2024, 8:30am-1:30pm
All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 10 Billerica Road, Chelmsford MA

The church is located at the intersection of Routes 110 and 129, with a front and rear parking lot. Additionally, parking is available at the real estate office next door as well as across the street in the brick house driveway, and in the lower municipal lot accessible via the driveway next to Santander Bank. Below is the schedule, along with program location (Parish Hall, Church, Choir Loft, Choir Room) An elevator connects all levels except to the choir loft. Although day-of registration for the presentations is permitted, you must register by Friday, February 16 to order from the catered lunch menu. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER (including lunch choices).

Refreshing your organ repertoire: Join AGO President Eileen Hunt and local composer Carson Cooman for a discussion of new and accessible organ
repertoire. Hear more about the AGO’s initiative to publish works of female composers, Carson’s insights on composing, and come away with music for inspiration and perusal. (Church)

Improvisation for the non-beginner. Leonardo Ciampa, presenter (Choir Loft)
OR Conducting amateur choirs; an unorthodox but successful approach. Randy Steere, presenter (Choir Room)

“If these pipes could talk: tales of Merrimack Valley organs and organists” presented by Matthew Bellocchio, Richard Ouellette, Andrew Scanlon, and with Mark Nelson as narrator. (Church)

Lunch and further music perusal (Parish Hall)

Please consider bringing your unused organ and sacred piano music to share with others at our annual music “flea” market. This is a passive fundraiser for MVAGO and helps to ensure quality programs for the future. Tables will be set up in the Parish Hall for this music sharing.
