The Music of Franz Joseph Haydn

The combined choirs of Fitchburg State University (Dr. Jonathan Harvey, director) and Christ Church Fitchburg (Robert Potterton III, director) present a concert of F.J. Haydn’s Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo (“Little Organ Mass”) and The Heavens are Telling (from “The Creation”), joined by a guest string quartet performing one of the master composer’s many works in that form. There is a suggested donation of $10 per person, payable at the door (students and children are admitted free of charge). The concert will also be livestreamed online. A reception will follow.
