Mechanics Hall and Worcester Chapter AGO present a free organ concert with Dana Robinson. Hailed as “an organists’ organist” by the Diapason magazine, Robinson is Associate Professor of Organ and Chairman of the Keyboard Area at the School of Music at the University of Illinois. A New England native, Robinson has long been renowned as one of the finest concert organists in the United States. His program — created specifically to showcase the grand E. & G. G. Hook organ of Mechanics Hall — includes Lefébure-Wely’s March in C, Franck’s Fantaisie in C, Saint-Saëns/Guilmant Rêverie du Soir (Suite Algérienne), and Widor’s Symphonie III in e minor.
