Requiem: The Music of Gabriel Fauré

The combined choirs of Fitchburg State University and Christ Church are joined by Li Shan Tan (harpist), Hildy Schilling (violinist), Robert Potterton III (organist), and Dr. Jonathan Harvey (conductor) in a presentation of Fauré’s Requiem in D minor, as well as his Pavane in F# minor and Impromptu in Db major. There is a suggested donation of $10 per person; students and under 18 are free. The concert will take place at Christ Church, 569 Main Street, Fitchburg, MA on Sunday, November 6 at 4:00pm, and will also be livestreamed on Facebook, YouTube, and the church’s website.
