Open Console, Monday October 12th 4-6pm
We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to an Open Console at Christ the King Catholic Church on October 12th at 4pm. There is a free and convenient parking lot at the church. This will be a particularly special gathering as the church has recently completed a substantial rebuild and restoration of its 1974 Casavant organ, Op. 3243. Those familiar with the instrument may know of the challenges it faced in recent years. Today, however, it is a transformed instrument. We’re very thankful to Ellen Linn for this opportunity to see, hear, and play the results of a successful rebuilding project, one that has not only returned the organ to excellent condition, but also enhanced its capabilities for the future. Take a turn at the console, or simply come to listen, explore the instrument, and enjoy the company of friends. We hope to see you on October 12 at 4pm!
