(Members Only)

The following churches have graciously offered their instruments for use by WorcAGO members to practice.

Please be sensitive to electricity and heating costs, and offer to make a small donation if you wish.  Please be reasonable about negotiating practice times w.r.t. office hours (when the church is open), and funeral services.  Please be sensitive if other activities are happening in the church, such that you would need to use flutes only, for instance.

(For example, while your dean was on sabbatical a few years ago for a month, I practiced almost daily at a small Episcopal church, and at the end of the month made a small donation to the church’s music fund, even tho this was not required – after all, i had used their electricity for lights and blower for about 50 hours)

St. Michael’s-on-the-Heights Episcopal Church, 340 Burncoat Street, Worcester, is offering its two-manual, 1974 Casavant organ, newly rebuilt by Westfield organ company, for use as a practice instrument for organ students in the Worcester area. Any student interested in practicing at St. Michael’s is invited to call the church office at 508-853-9400 to make arrangements.
